![]() The only SW package that is able to do this out of the box is IMHO Silkypix which comes bundled with panny bodies (Silkypix 8 only) so it is sort of official panny raw procesor. I really like the SooC jpg colours from panasonic bodies but since I shoot almost entirely in RAW, it has been nearly impossible to find a RAW processor that could replicate original Panasonic colour science. I usually promote free RAW editing SW packages like Darktable, RawTherapee and Luminance HDR (for HDR obviously) but since I shoot with Panasonic m4/3 and FF bodies I must strongly recommend Silkypix Developer Studio Pro 11 which gives pretty impressive value for money at least for panny owners.ĭedicated Panasonic RAW only version is on sale for 28€ *) and there is a single reason why I use this whenever possible - colour science. There are also functions I don't use in Lightroom or dxo. In fact the main issues of this software is their communication, often focused on functions I would never use (sky replacement is one of them) or functions that work much worse than adverstised.īut it doesn't mean the program is bad. ![]() ![]() In on1 the basic color rendering was not to my taste and I hard a hard time getting something I liked.īut this was quite a long time ago - last time I tried it was when they advertised on their lightroom settings conversion thing, which was really a joke. In Lightroom I can choose between a lot of profiles (some included, some bought) and even when the profiles is not perfect the calibration panel is very effective to correct it. The other thing that was a problem to me with on1 is the colors. Click to expand.Yes, it's part of the things I need to test.Įmbedded profiles are ok (as far as you can choose the amount, which is something lightroom is only starting to do), dxo profiles are mostly very very good (except for vignetting which is sometimes overcorrected - but you can choose the percentage).įor what I've tried before lensfun is much behind and it would be really a shame not to include at least the embedded profiles as an alternative.
